Ms.Nicholson’s Junior Infants became scientists for the day!

We tested which things float in water and which things sink in water. We got our hands wet!!

The children from 1st class to 6th class played the Tin Whistle for parents on Monday in the Christmas Concert. Well done on all the practice you did at home. Thank you especially to Ali for teaching these Christmas songs and many more since September.            

Christmas is nearly here!! The Christmas fair is this Tuesday. The Christmas fair is lots of fun. We made theChristmas crackers for it. We also made Chritmas candleholders to sell in the fair, they are fabulous so come andbuy them. There will also be books, lucky bags, make up….. on sale tomorrow. You cango to a puppet show, or get your fortune told and the mams, dads, grannies & grandadscan relax in the hall with a cuppa & some cake!

We are all very excited about Christmas, we made painted stockings made mangers & Christmas cards. Happy Christmas from 3rd Class

There were chocolate santa’s, baubles, fairy lights, snowflakes, children, tinsel, 3 narrators, Mary, Joseph and the wise men and 2 very bossy fairies. It was about 2 bossy fairies who were decorating the tree (Eimear). They only wanted the best decorations on the tree (Eoin). They pushed the broken decorations into the rejects box (Sarah G). The broken decorations couldn’t be allowed on the tree (Fiona). The snowflakes did a dance (Amna). We sang 5 songs in the play (Temi). Our favourite song was “Wrap me round the Christmas Tree” (all).Two children introduced the play (Sarah R). Narrators told everyone what was happening in the play (Rachel). It was funny (Sinead). It was a hit (Shane). Thanks to all the parents for the beautiful costumes and the practising at home.

Today I feel tired and sad that it is over.

Yesterday  we did our Christmas play for people.

In our Christmas play I was a shepherd.

I got to say lines.

My Mammy was very proud of me.

We all went to a magic show and had great fun! We dressed up for the magic show. Ms. Nicholson got a fright!!
